Here are two examples of foreclosure announcements:
Central Ohio Foreclosure Source – Daily Reporter Journal. This site is where I get the most recent seizure lists, check your newspaper, or call the city to find your seizure list.
This is what a list looks like when displayed on the Daily Reporter

8888 Punder and 2222 Sand Dr are the foreclosed homes. If the first address is different, it is because the owner lives there and the seized property is a rental or a secondary residence.
Once you find your local foreclosure list, be sure to get the list as soon as possible. The sooner you get the listing, the sooner you can send letters for landlords to call you.
If you must buy a foreclosure listing that is good, just make sure it is a very recent listing. The Daily Reporter charges $95 a year to subscribe to its newspaper, and then you can go online and download the seizure lists for free. This newspaper is intended only for Columbus and not for other cities.
I do not recommend buying foreclosure listings from online companies like foreclosure or foreclosure listings. These lists are usually 30 days or more old and that’s too long to create an effective marketing campaign. You want a listing that takes 2 or 3 days to get to you once the property has entered lis pendens. Some small towns only print foreclosure lists weekly or once a month in the local newspaper, so understand that not all towns are online like Columbus.
